    • Custom-length option available
Spare or extra cables. Our system kits all include the needed cables

Ethernet cables. Often overlooked, yet the most vital part of long-range networking link.

Choose the length, data up to 300 FT total, Power-Over-Ethernet is limited to 100-200 FT depending on the device design and voltage. Lengths may be joined with a coupler however this should be avoided especially outdoors. If over 100 FT is needed contact us for a custom length hand-made in our lab.

Because RF (radio frequency) signal is passing from the radio (router, hotspot, USB adaptor, signal booster, etc.) to the antenna, it inevitable loses signal strength over cable run, especially for coax cables.

This is called attenuation. To combat this issue:

      • 3 FT (yellow)
      • 50 FT (gray)
      • 100 FT Black)

              L-240 Cable Specs

              A very good cost-to-performance cable.
For shorter cable runs that still demand performance, the L-240 cable is more flexible to manage and saves a few bucks.
Maximum suggested cable run is 20 FT.

              L-195 Cable Specs

The best cable for short runs up to 10 ft.
This cable is great for short pigtails, such as connecting an antenna to a thicker and longer cable run.
This cable is the most flexible; however also the most lossy.

How to Choose The Right Cable

It’s all about the cable run. Anything shorter than 10 ft, an L-195 is acceptable. Up to 20 ft, the L-240 is good. For anything above, 30 ft, the L-400 performs the best.

dB loss & gain is measured exponentially. A +3 or -3 dB equals to either doubling the power or doubling the loss. In the specs above, the L-400 at 40 ft performs about the same as a L-240 at 20 ft which is 2x the length.
