This long range Wi-Fi kit combines high distance reach with fast data throughput at 150mbps on the 802.11n network standard. The antenna is a very directional 24dBi parabolic grid antenna allowing you to reach signals up to 6 miles away when paired with this 500mW USB adapter. The 11n USB adapter is based on the RaLink 3070 chipset so Windows 7 & Linux users do not need a CD driver. It is plug & play and includes software for compatibility with all other operating systems.
The antenna is meant to be mounted outdoors with the included U-bolt hardware and can withstand years of use in the elements. With its mesh grid wind, water and snow can pass through and still maintain the proper angle. The reception cone is very narrow at just 7 degrees wide, which allows it to reach miles of reception. NOTE: A thick coaxial cable is needed to connect the antenna to the USB adapter.
